Rowan class had an amazing time sailing on Tuesday 14th October. We went out in 2 boats and also had fun paddleboarding. Despite the autumn chill, we all still had great fun jumping off the paddle boards into the sea! Some of us were a little nervous to begin with but we overcame it and felt so proud after. On the way home, we all said that we would love to go again!
Juniper class enjoyed a trip to Portland to set sail on the Weymouth waters. We joined our friends in Oak class in the sail boats and headed out across the harbour. It was a great experience for all the boys and was fully accessible for everyone . Staff at the centre were very accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us all. Both Juniper boys got so much out of the hours sail, giving them a sense of freedom and enjoying the wind on their faces, thankfully the weather stayed on our side and we saw the sunshine. We hope to have this experience again in the future.

On Wednesday 17th September, The Bank of Dreams and Nightmares came into Rowan class to carry out a workshop on speech writing. This was a really fun and engaging morning and we all wrote some excellent speeches. Many thanks to Ed, Nick, Diana and Lizzie who came in and made our morning magical. We especially loved the badge making! They will be back in the spring term for another session with our work typed up too!

Elm class had an amazing trip to Rockburn bouldering centre in Bridport! All of us enjoyed exploring a new place. The centre owner Will Martin helped us to stay safe whilst we had a go at climbing. Then we had our snacks in the cafe area. Lastly we had more climbing time, and some of us had a much needed rest on the sofas!
