Bridport Family Meet Up Summer 2023

The weather was on our side and we had a good time at the park, some of the children ventured on to the higher apparatus and navigated this fantastically.

Theo The Therapy dog came along too and the children and young people enjoyed being with him. Theo really enjoyed his time with Mountjoy pupils and making new friends, if you would like to learn more about Therapy Dog Training UK visit https://www.facebook.com/therapydogtraininguk/

Dorset Council are looking for parents or carers of children who have Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND) to do some user testing on the Dorset Council website – specifically on the SEND Local Offer web pages.

This will involve you doing 5 simple tasks on the website whilst we observe and talk to you about your experience. The testing will take place online, using a video call. You can use a laptop or smartphone. We also have some in person slots available in Dorchester, or Ferndown. It would only take 45 minutes and we have sessions to select from Tuesday 11 to Friday 21 July.

Hearing from parents and carers is essential to developing the website and making it work for you. You do not need to be ‘digitally savvy!’ we would love to hear from people of all different ages and confidence online.

If you are interested, please sign up as a Dorset user tester today. You can select as many slots as suit you, and testers will receive a £20 high street voucher as a thank you on completion of the user testing.
