Year 7  top-up funding expected in 2019-20 – £3000. We aim to use this funding to focus on literacy by investing in a Downs Syndrome reading scheme. Targeted staff training will take place in reading and number. Our Speech and Language therapist will make contact and support our year 7 parents with communication. We will introduce parent workshops and opportunities for parents to visit classes during the day to facilitate parents further understanding of what their child is learning.

In 2018-19 the school received funding of £2500. This funding was used to focus on individual attachment sessions, targeted English and maths interventions and therapy as required to support learning and engagement. Attachment issues are highlighted on some annual reviews and therefore targeted by using some of this funding. Behaviour data is excellent and pupils increase their outcomes as a result.

In 2017-18 the school received funding of £2000. The funding has been used for targeted English interventions, computing sessions and a specific year 7 Arts Award project. No child that has had the benefit of interventions remained as RI the following term in these subjects. Pupil data is strong.

In 2016-17 the school received funding of £2000 which has been used for attachment support and English and maths interventions with a focus on computing

In 2015-16 the school received funding of £3,000 which has be used for reading recovery and English & Maths interventions including a multi-sensory approach and the use of augmentative technologies.

In 2014-15 the school received funding of £2,000. Three pupils benefited from daily reading interventions with 1:1 TA support which provided them with strategies to de-code words in everyday reading. One pupil received sensory integration provided by an Occupational Therapist enabling access to a greater degree of learning in a variety of environments.

In 2012-13 the school received funding of £500; in 2013-14 the school received funding of £1,500. The funding was used to support Toe by Toe; Write Dance; Synthetic Phonics; Numicon; Maths Booster Groups.
